A Vegan Nightmare!
I'll never be able to have another roast dinner again for as long as I live!
Do not despair! Progress is being made in leaps and bounds.
Sustainability is the driving force behind these changes. Alas, it wasn't predominantly animal welfare that pricked our collective conscience but hey, since we only have control over our own choices let's just start with that, and that's a very good place to start...(Doh-re-mi) Ah-hum giving away my age, yes, we'll leave that 'til later...
O Pavlova, Pavlova wherefore art thou?
I Miss You So Much!
Over here yonder in amongst all these lush and abundant plants in the form of vegan meringues and yesss, whipped plant cream that doesn't taste like a hen's backyard at high tea!

So now you most definitely can. Who would have thought? These incredible meringues, or should I say, Veringue® (vegan + meringue) I know right? Are the best I've found. Absolutely delicious with dollops of plant based cream they become a meringue lover's dream. Here the makers of these incredible little moments of sheer joy, Pretty Pink Potato (UK) have used Elmlea plant cream, another revelation for me because, well, I just never imagined plants could be so darned sophisticated!
